I say just take it slow, because real...I hear you! I say just take it slow, because really, you have to do something that you can make into a lifestyle if you want to keep it off. Take one thing at a time and make slow, steady changes. Make it something do-able, like not eating carbs for one meal a day, rather than throwing the baby out with the bath water and completely cutting carbs! When you've mastered that, move on and tackle the next thing. You are already on the right road with exercise.
